BOOK SYNOPSIS
During the formative years of the author's faith, an intense interest in money and liberty urged him to consult the God of the Bible in connection with these vital interests. Simply stated, the question was, "God, what is your position on money?" Beginning at Genesis 1:1, seven years later, satisfied, and more than satisfied that he had been given the answer, just one year later, in 1982, "Inflation: The Ultimate Graven Image" was published. Happily for the sake of the nation, "Inflation" became yesterday's news under the presidency of Ronald Reagan. Sadly for the sake of the book title, it lay unread in the publisher's inventory.
In 2003 the subject was brought to the author's attention once again with the request of the Foundation for the Advancement of Monetary Education, (FAME) to update the book for the new readership of the 21st Century.
With that as background, making "Are You Worried Yet? Where Is Money Taking Us?" ready for release in 2008, it has become clear that there is by now a war raging against the Bible, and by association, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
This present work is the fruit of the conviction resulting from the earlier study that the Bible is The Word of God, and that, whatever the instruments employed in its writing or any errors of translation resulting from ignorance or religious agenda on the part of the translators, in its original impartation the Bible accurately presents the truth of God's position on Money as well as a great host of other concerns in our present day world.
By now, it is not enough to say that this is a book about God's position on money as revealed in the pages of the Bible. It has now become necessary to address the matter of the Bible's credibility, and why we should honor it as a source, even a wellspring of truth.
By 1982, the author was convinced that the Bible was true, because, when looked at with an eye toward monetary truth, it was clear that the instrumental writers of its content could have had no way of knowing the full truth of what they were prompted to write. Only the unfolding of history could make that clear. Because of the pervasive nature of the subject it was clear that this applied to the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, beginning to end.
By 2008, one more piece of evidence for Biblical credibility had become very apparent. That evidence resides in the vehicle by which the Bible has been preserved and handed down to us through history, namely what's calling itself "church." The content of the Bible is the strongest possible evidence that what has been calling itself "church" has little or nothing to do with what the Bible, and the God of the Bible calls church. In short, the messenger stands indicted by the Message.
In exploring the depths of what the Bible has to say about money, and the economy that surrounds money, all that is presently wanting becomes very clear, including where money is taking us.
